Quick Wine Course - 4 evenings
It's tough to be in high demand!
We’re not talking about Bordeaux wine futures, but the busy and often unpredictable schedule of professionals in Zürich. Consulting engagements, deadlines, unreasonable demands from clients and then holiday globetrotting for relaxation. Sound familiar? When you want to understand the fundamentals of wine but are short on time, our 4-evening Quick Course provides an excellent, practical baseline to begin navigating the world of wine.
- Course Goals >
Stop ordering the same wine over and over.
In just four weeknights, we can make you comfortable with the world's most-encountered wines and ready to explore new horizons. We designed our four-week “quick course” to bust common wine myths, eliminate pretensiousness and expand your comfort zone in short time, with the following goals:
1. Gain familiarity with the world’s major wine types, both whites and reds
2. Understand style differences between European & New World wines
3. Learn how wine and food make each other better
We focus on the world’s most popular white and red wine grapes to quickly orient you to the widest selection. By comparing European wines to other popular world regions and exploring local food pairings, you’ll understand style differences and why you should always think local food, local wine! Plus it’s a great way to meet some new people in Zürich.
