Wine Appreciation Course - 6 evenings
Demystify the world of wine without a snob in the bunch.
Can you really learn to understand and enjoy wine without becoming ridiculously pretentious? Absolutely, and you'll also meet some new fellow wine lovers along the way. Most graduates of our complete Wine Appreciation Course depart with the world of wine happily demystified, enthusiastic to eat, drink and experience more, and not least with a few new friends for future dinner parties.
- Course Goals >
Understand wine styles and find the best values for your taste
We designed the six evening program to advance and expand your overall wine knowledge and enhance your day-to-day enjoyment of wine and food, with the following goals:
1. Familiarity with the world’s major wine types and regions
2. More comfort ordering from a restaurant wine list
3. Making better decisions in wine shops (even at COOP!)
4. Learning how wine and food make each other better
You'll taste a broad range of wine styles—from basic to good values to famous—while addressing practical topics each week such as reading wine labels, vintages and dispelling wine myths. We also provide an introduction to food and wine pairing education for a true broadening of your culinary horizons.
