Our wine events are always fun. This stuff is sometimes less fun.

Stuff happens, we understand. Since we buy your wine and food in advance, we ask for prepayment to officially book your place and then--if unforeseen problems arise--offer a flexible substitution and refund policy.

We're absolutely as flexible as possible on cancellation matters, here's what we ask: 


Wine Courses

If you have to miss any class evening…

either expectedly or unexpectedly, you can always make it up free of charge in a future session, provided we have an open seat. If we're sold out on your makeup evening (which happens relatively infrequently), we'll alert you for the next session.

Payments
Your place(s) are officially reserved and booked upon payment receipt. We follow up with an email confirmation. 

If you don't prepay and we have additional requests, we'll email you with a reminder before giving your place away. If you don't answer within 24 hours, don't be surprised or upset if we give your spot away.

Cancellations
We ask for course cancellations via email at info@uncorked.ch. Our cancellation refund policy depends on how far in advance you cancel: 

  • More than 14 days before course start: full refund via electronic transfer or full credit towards another course, or combination.
  • 7-14 days before course start: full credit towards the next scheduled same course offering
  • Less than 7 days before course start and no-shows: no credit and no refund possible

Minimum Participants and Refunds
If an Uncorked course doesn’t receive the minimum number of participants (8 unless otherwise indicated in course overview), we reserve the right to cancel the course at latest 5 days before the scheduled start. Refunds are provided immediately in full via electronic transfer.

Cancellations
We ask for course cancellations via email at info@uncorked.ch, telephone or SMS at 079 849 58 69. Our cancellation refund policy depends on how far in advance you cancel:

  • More than 48 hours before event start: full refund via electronic transfer or credit towards another event
  • Less than 48 hours before event start: if we’re able to fill the spot with someone from our event waiting list, you receive a full refund via electronic transfer or full credit, otherwise no refund and no credit possible

Minimum Participants and Refunds
If an Uncorked event or workshop doesn’t receive the minimum number of participants (15 for events unless otherwise indicated in event or workshop description), we reserve the right to cancel the course at latest 3 days before the scheduled start. Refunds are provided immediately in full via electronic transfer.
